QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer. When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine architecture on a different machine architecture. This is different than VMware, VirtualBox, or Hyper-V where you’re running different operating systems on the same architecture.

Now that you know a simple combo padlock is basically just a deterrent, you shouldn’t ever use one to lock up anything of real value.
I use the little green laptop on recreational travel because the wifi signal strength is much better than your average laptop and it’s been less likely to get stolen since most people look at it and think it’s a toy. Hopefully they’ll release the next version of the laptop soon so i’ll have one to play with again! So long XO.
This is especially needed for any Windows application. It would save the typical user from his/herself. So many apps want to install a toolbar, take over as the default choice, or select some other intrusive behavior as the default. If you could have an app that you run before launching any kind of installation program, and that app just unchecked all the defaults, forcing you to choose the options that you feel are best, well the world might explode.
Perpetual Data is a peer-to-peer application that allows you to use an arbitrary computer as your own, with access to your personal and public data for the duration of your login. When you log out of the application, access to you data disappears from that PC.
